Stop.Frame!

Stop.Frame breaks its far-too-long silence with the news that Arnold Zwanenburg’s terrific stop-motion claymation film Doctor Knowgood has been accepted for showing at the Bristol Animated Encounters film festival.

Doctor Knowgood will be showing three times – so giving everyone in the South West a good chance of seeing it before it goes home to Rotterdam. The showings are:

• Thursday 18 November at 10:00 (Part of Emerging Talent 1)
• Saturday 20 November at 1o:30 (Part of Children’s Animation Jury, repeat)
• Saturday 20 November at 12:30 (Part of Children’s Animation Jury – why is the repeat showing first? I’ve no idea!)
• Sunday 21 November at 13:00 (Part of Emerging Talent 1, repeat)

I’m very much looking forward to seeing the film in a full-size cinema screening. Fingers crossed Arnold gets the recognition his film deserves.
